Dave Cooper is the Vice President of Software Development and Strategy for Rockwell Software. In this role, Dave is responsible for setting the technology direction and providing overall leadership for all product development within Rockwell Software. Dave brings over 25 years of experience in the software industry to this role. He came to Rockwell Software from Pavilion Technologies where he was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Research & Development. Mr. Cooper has lead research & development organizations at multiple high growth software companies and assisted those companies through successful acquisitions and IPOs. He has also held senior development leadership positions at software icons Novell, WordPerfect, and Corel. As an entrepreneur he has started multiple successful software companies. Dave got an early start to his career when, at age 14, he founded his first software company that was acquired a few years later after significant, fast-paced revenue growth.
